This photo of my father and I on a roof top was taken in Beuna Vista, Colorado. The photo was taken while we were sweeping a chimney in our top hats and tails. I can remember the neighbors coming out to see the show as my dad belted out Chim Chim Cher-ee and other classic Mary Poppins songs.
I would like to take this occasion to acknowledge my dad for all he tought me. He set an example of how to work hard, to always go the extra mile, and to do what is right even when it is hard. The most valuable lessons had nothing to do with work. He showed me what a loving father and honorable husband looks like. For all these things, I thank you.
